I love the feeling of accomplishment when you tie the last ribbon on your pile of Xmas gift wrapping. Another year done. As we will be away for the big day this year, I got it over and done with earlier than normal (ie.not Christmas Eve). Being a fan of setting a theme, I like to mix it up every year - and decided this year it would be hot pink horses. Why? I'm not really sure...
The Project:
I then let loose with the spray can (outside, on an old bed sheet). The result: Sheets of inexpensive custom made wrapping paper and spray painted animal gift tags. Too easy.

ReplyDeleteWowsers! I wish I were getting presents from you this Christmas. My husband favours the "save a tree and not bother" apporaoch to wrapping which has much less to do with environmentalism than laziness.

Oh this is gorgeous! While I don't have any presents to buy this year and maybe only some food gifts to wrap, I love the excitement of wrapping presents for someone else. I love the anticipation of knowing they will open it and smile on their birthday or special occasion. Have a wonderful Christmas break!

ReplyDeleteHi Kellie! I love the big rolls Officeworks sell - on a glad wrap style dispenser, a bit more expensive ($20??) but good quality and roll lasts for ages. Other than that, I get cheaper and thinner stuff from most $2 shops! x
