My four year old nephew Finn is one of the funniest people I know. On a recent visit to his house, he informed me he was 'Darth Vader' for the day. Pretty sure Darth Vader wears black Finny? The little man was kind enough to let me take photos for 'Briar's website'. I love his little collection of critters made by my mum and hats that sit on top of his bookshelf. It looks like Darth Vader might be too big for his ride-on bumble bee these days, which had been positioned under the stairs. Oh, to be four again.- Briar x

Oh god love him! It's such a sweet age x
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! We have that Wheelie Bug Bumblebee, as well as the cow version. They are indestructable!

ReplyDeleteHi Kara, the white house belongs to another sister! I do plan on sharing both the homes properly very soon though. This one is an old corner store in Annandale, really great space!

Thanks for all your comments! Finn is sure one special little boy! Briar x
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Love that bumble bee.
ReplyDeletehow very funny!!! I too have a Finn, who has just this week turned 6 (we call him Finny too). He had 2 of the same hats, was obsessed with dressing up superhero style(still does but not quite so obsessively)and "Dark" Vader.... AND has the bumble bee-first xmas present from santa!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo, it must follow that we have exactly the same stairs and floor-lovely
He's such a little dude! Those hats are too cool.great blog! LovT
ReplyDeleteoh too weird... this house used to belong to my friends and old work colleagues at studio internationale... I spent MANY long nights there working away, listening to music that was squirreled away in the veneer cabinet, cleaning out doggie hair from the pebbles... It's so surreal to see how our worlds are colliding! xo
ReplyDelete@marjee
ReplyDeleteWow, what a crazy small world Marjee! The place is very well looked after now too - those pebbles drive my sister a little mad though ; )
Nice collections of hat. Good thing he welcomes you to his world.
